Mets News: Robert Carson demoted to Triple-A Vegas

Mets News:

Left-handed reliever Robert Carson was demoted to Triple-A Las Vegas late Saturday night.

Sandy Alderson said one motivation was to give the thin 51s bullpen help at the back end as it enters the Pacific Coast League playoffs. Of course, Carson has an 8.24 ERA and has surrendered nine homers in 19 2/3 innings at the major league level this season.
