Preview:

The Mets (8-9), who have dropped the last two games to the Atlanta Braves (12-5) look to rebound in the final game of the three games series. The Mets have been woeful at home this season only going 2-6.

The Mets will send Zack Wheeler (1-2) to the mound, who has pitched better of late. Last Game vs Arizona on April 14th he pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 6 hits, 2 ER, 3 BB's, while striking out 3. He is 3-1 with a 3.80 ERA vs the Braves in his short career. The current Braves are collectively batting .236 with 3 HR's and 7 RBI's vs Wheeler. Freddie Freeman is batting .556 (5 for 9) with a HR and 3 RBI's vs Wheeler. Other Notables: Jason Heyward .333 (3 for 9) 1 HR, 2 RBI's, Dan Uggla .286 (2 for 7) with a HR, 2 RBI's, Andrelton Simmons .333 (3 for 9) with 3 BB's vs Wheeler.

The Mets will be getting their second look at young David Hale (0-0). The Mets faced him his last time out and he only lasted (6.23 ERA) 4.1 innings, gave up 5 hits, 3 earned runs, walking 5, while striking out 2. The Mets ended up winning the game 6-4. Eric Young went 3 for 3 , David Wright went 1 for 2, and Daniel Murphy also went 1 for 2 in their last meeting vs Hale.

The Mets bats better start to get going or else it could mean another sweep in the hands of the Atlanta Braves.

Preview:

The Mets will try and steal the final game of the three game series in Atlanta. The Mets will have RHP Jenrry Mejia on the mound as most like to call him "Lil' Pedro". Mejia (1-0) his last time out faced the Reds going 6 innings, giving up 4 hits and striking out 8. He also gave up 1 earned run. The Braves have only seen him in limited action. The Braves that have faced him are hitting .286 vs Mejia (4 for 14).  Dan Uggla has connected with a HR against Mejia.

The Mets will face Princeton Alum RHP David Hale. This will be the first time the Mets will face Hale. Hale went five innings in his first start (in Wash), giving up 5 hits, no earned runs, walked 2, while striking out 4.  He got a "No Decision".

Mets better start hitting now, Let's see how they handle Hale..
