According to Ken Davidoff of the New York Post, the Mets seem interested in short stop Jhonny Peralta "alot".
The Biogenesis culprit who served a 50 game ban might come cheap to the Mets and the Mets are always welcome to a bargain.
Peralta had a very good season in his 107 games, hitting .303 with a .358 on-base percentage and a .457 slugging percentage. He has three hits and five RBIs in eight ALDS at-bats.
Davidoff predicts the Mets might go three years, $36 Million. He also predicts the Mets may pursue the Curtis Granderson (at the same price) to help a awful outfield which only has Juan Lagares penciled in Center Field.
Both seem logical solutions which would add some pop to lineup that needs it. Also Granderson has lead-off experience which the Mets so desperately need.
