Mets AAA - Las Vegas 10, Iowa 5: Dominic Smith homered and had two hits as the Las Vegas 51s beat the Iowa Cubs 10-5 on Monday. With the game tied 4-4, the 51s took the lead for good in the fourth inning when Smith hit a solo home run. The 51s later added three runs in the sixth and two in the eighth. In the sixth, Amed Rosario hit a three-run home run, while Travis Taijeron hit a two-run home run in the eighth. Kevin McGowan (3-2) got the win with 2 1/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while Zac Rosscup (2-1) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game. For the Cubs, John Andreoli doubled twice and singled, scoring two runs. Chesny Young singled four times, also stealing a base. BOX

Mets A (ADV) - St. Lucie 6, Lakeland 0: Jhoan Urena homered and had two hits, driving in two, and Andrew Church allowed just seven hits over 8 1/3 innings as the St. Lucie Mets topped the Lakeland Flying Tigers 6-0 on Monday. Church (3-3) picked up the win after he struck out four and walked one. In the top of the fifth, St. Lucie broke a scoreless tie on a home run by Dale Burdick that scored Wuilmer Becerra and Nick Sergakis. The Mets then added a run in the sixth and two in the ninth. In the sixth, Urena hit a solo home run, while J.C. Rodriguez and Urena hit RBI doubles in the ninth. Sandy Baez (0-3) went 4 1/3 innings, allowing three runs and three hits in the Florida State League game. He also struck out five and walked two. The Flying Tigers were held scoreless for the fourth time this season, while the Mets' staff recorded their first shutout of the year. With the win, St. Lucie improved to 5-2 against Lakeland this season. BOX

Mets A - Columbia 6, Lakewood 1: Harol Gonzalez tossed a four-hit complete game and Michael Paez singled twice, as the Columbia Fireflies topped the Lakewood BlueClaws 6-1 in the first game of a doubleheader on Monday. Gonzalez (2-2) picked up the win after he struck out eight and walked one while allowing one run. Columbia started the scoring in the first inning when Paez hit an RBI single and Luis Carpio scored on a ground out. The BlueClaws cut into the deficit in the second inning when Darick Hall scored on a double play. Felix Paulino (1-3) went 3 1/3 innings, allowing six runs and five hits in the South Atlantic League game. He also struck out four and walked two. BOX

Mets A - Lakewood 2, Columbia 1: Nick Fanti allowed just four hits over five innings, leading the Lakewood BlueClaws over the Columbia Fireflies in a 2-1 win in the second game of a doubleheader on Monday. Trevor Bettencourt got Milton Ramos to hit into a double play with a runner on first to end the game for his fourth save of the season. Fanti (3-0) allowed one run while striking out four and walking one to get the win. Columbia started the scoring in the first inning. After reaching base on a strikeout, Gene Cone advanced to second on a groundout and then scored on a single by Luis Carpio. Lakewood answered in the bottom of the inning, scoring two runs to take the lead for good. Carlos Duran and Henri Lartigue both drove in runs en route to the one-run lead. Jordan Humphreys (6-1) went six innings, allowing two runs and four hits while striking out six in the South Atlantic League game. The teams split the doubleheader after Columbia won the first game 6-1. BOX
