Mets AAA - Omaha 8, Las Vegas 4: Ryan O'Hearn, Garin Cecchini and Terrance Gore each had three hits, as the Omaha Storm Chasers beat the Las Vegas 51s 8-4 on Sunday. With the victory, the Storm Chasers swept the four-game series. Las Vegas tied the game 2-2 in the third after Gavin Cecchini hit an RBI double and then scored on a single by Amed Rosario. After Omaha added a run in the fourth when Corey Toups hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Gore, the Storm Chasers added to their lead in the fifth inning when Gore hit an RBI single and then scored on a two-run double by Parker Morin. The Storm Chasers later tacked on two runs in the ninth when Bubba Starling scored on a sacrifice and Dean Anna scored on a forceout to secure the victory. Omaha right-hander Luke Farrell (4-1) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing two runs on four hits over six innings. Opposing starter Ricky Knapp (1-4) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game after a rough outing in which he allowed six runs and 14 hits over 4 2/3 innings. For the 51s, Gavin Cecchini doubled and singled twice, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple. BOX

Mets A - Columbia 5, Lakewood 3: Michael Paez and Dash Winningham connected on back-to-back homers in the eighth inning, leading the Columbia Fireflies to a 5-3 win over the Lakewood BlueClaws on Sunday. Lakewood had a runner on first in the bottom of the ninth, but Raul Rivas hit into a double play to end the game. The home runs were both solo shots and gave the Fireflies a 5-3 lead. Columbia took a 3-0 lead after Luis Carpio hit a sacrifice fly in the third inning and Brandon Brosher hit a two-run home run in the fourth. Lakewood answered in the bottom of the inning when Brett Barbier and Cord Sandberg scored on a fielder's choice and Edgar Cabral hit an RBI single. Jake Simon (1-1) got the win with three innings of scoreless, three-hit relief while Zach Morris (2-2) took the loss in the South Atlantic League game. Luke Williams doubled twice, also stealing a base for the BlueClaws. BOX
