Mets AAA - LAS VEGAS 7, EL PASO 2: Cory Mazzoni allowed one run in six innings for the 51s. Matt Reynolds and Andrew Brown both homered, and Reynolds had four hits and drove in three runs. Box

Mets AA - BOWIE 8, BINGHAMTON 2: Starter Steven Matz had another good game for the B-Mets, allowing just one unearned run on six hits in six innings, with one walk and seven strikeouts. Matz handed a 1-0 deficit to the bullpen, and it quickly became an 8-0 deficit, because Adam Kolarek allowed three runs and Jon Velasquez allowed four. First baseman Jayce Boyd and catcher Xorge Carrillo drove in the Binghamton runs. Box



Mets High A - CLEARWATER 5, ST. LUCIE 1: Center fielder Maikis De La Cruz and left fielder Jared King had two hits apiece for the Mets, and King drove in the lone St. Lucie run. Starter Luis Cessa allowed five runs in six innings and took the loss. Box

Mets Low A - SAVANNAH 1, HICKORY 0: Starter John Gant carried a perfect game through six innings. Gant lost his perfect game in the seventh, but he finished seven innings with just one hit and two walks, with eight strikeouts. Center fielder Champ Stuart's two-out single in the eighth inning brought home pinch runner Victor Cruzado with the game's only run. Akeel Morris struck out two batters with two on in the ninth to record the save. Box

Mets RK - PULASKI 4, KINGSPORT 0: First baseman Zach Mathieu had three of the Mets' seven hits, including his seventh and eighth doubles of the season. Starter Gaby Almonte allowed four runs in 3 2/3 innings. Box

Mets A - SS - CONNECTICUT 5, BROOKLYN 1: First-round draft pick Michael Conforto hit his second professional home run, but it was the only run the Cyclones could manage as they lost to the first-place Tigers. Conforto had two of Brooklyn's five hits, and is batting .362. Starter Alberto Baldonado allowed five runs (three earned) in 5 1/3 innings. Ben Verlander, the younger brother of Justin Verlander, went 3-for-3 for Connecticut. Box
