Mets Minor League Roundup 8/26:


Mets AAA - LAS VEGAS 9, ROUND ROCK 5: Anthony Seratelli produced a second-inning grand slam and finished with five RBIs as Vegas won its sixth straight game. Logan Verrett recorded his team-leading 11th victory. Verrett allowed two runs on four hits in five innings. Box

Mets AA - NEW BRITAIN 5, BINGHAMTON 1
BINGHAMTON 3, NEW BRITAIN 2: Starter Gabriel Ynoa surrendered five runs in a seven-inning complete game as the B-Mets dropped Game 1. Jayce Boyd's two-out RBI single in the first inning gave Binghamton its lone run. In the nightcap, the B-Mets scored a pair of runs in the fifth inning -- on a passed ball and wild pitch -- to take a 3-2 lead. Dario Alvarez earned his first Double-A save by recording the final four outs. Paul Sewald earned the win in relief in his Double-A debut. Box 1, Box 2

Mets High A - ST. LUCIE 5, CHARLOTTE 2: The Mets stormed back from a 2-0 deficit with a four-run seventh that included a three-run double from Eudy Pina and RBI single from Jeff McNeil. St. Lucie added a run in the eighth on Cam Maron's sacrifice fly. Maron had been named a Florida State League All-Star earlier in the day. Starter Matt Koch allowed two runs in 7 2/3 innings. Ryan Fraser recorded the final four outs for his second save. Box



Mets Low A - AUGUSTA 5, SAVANNAH 3: John Mincone surrendered a pair of runs in the top of the ninth as Augusta broke a 3-all tie and sent Savannah to its season-high sixth straight loss. The Gnats had evened the score in the seventh on Jorge Rivero's RBI double and Yeixon Ruiz's RBI single, although the Gnats left the bases loaded that inning when Jonathan Leroux grounded into a fielder's choice. Mets RK - JOHNSON CITY 3, KINGSPORT 2: Blake Drake's two-out solo homer in the fifth against Yoryi Nuez broke a 2-all tie. Luis Guillorme and Eudor Garcia each went 3-for-4 in the loss. Box

Mets A - SS - BROOKLYN 8, STATEN ISLAND 2: Brooklyn produced a five-run third inning and maintained a two-game lead in the wild-card race with its victory. Consecutive singles by Michael Bernal, Tucker Tharp and Alfredo Reyes gave Brooklyn a 1-0 lead. After Adrian Abreu produced a run-scoring groundout, Amed Rosario delivered an RBI single. Michael Conforto grounded out, but another string of singles -- this time from Jhoan Urena, Tyler Moore and Pedro Perez -- plated two more runs for a 5-0 lead. Casey Meisner allowed one run on four hits in six innings and struck out 11. Box

Mets RK - GCL CARDINALS 2, GCL METS 1: Juan Marte surrendered a walk-off RBI single to Magneuris Sierra in the ninth. The Mets' lone run came on Dash Winningham's sixth-inning solo homer. It was his fifth long ball of the season -- the most by a Mets farmhand in the Gulf Coast League since Jeff Flagg and Alonzo Harris also had five in 2008. Box
