Mets Minor League Roundup 7/5:


Mets AAA - ALBUQUERQUE 11, LAS VEGAS 3 - LAS VEGAS 6, ALBUQUERQUE 3: Wilmer Flores, red hot since the Mets sent him back to the minors, homered in both games of Saturday's doubleheader, giving him five in the last three days. Josh Satin had two hits, including a double, in the 51s' Game 1 loss. Starting pitcher Greg Peavey gave up 11 runs on 14 hits, and now has a 12.21 ERA in five Triple-A starts. Andrew Brown hit his 15th home run of the season in Game 2. Box 1, Box 2

Mets AA - ERIE 2, BINGHAMTON 0 - BINGHAMTON 4, ERIE 0: The B-Mets came within one out of getting no-hit in the first game of the doubleheader. Darrell Ceciliani's single with two out in the seventh and final inning was their only hit off Erie's Tommy Collier. Steven Matz, who allowed just two unearned runs in a complete game, was the tough-luck loser for Binghamton. Hansel Robles and two relievers combined on a four-hit shutout in Game 2. Mets A+ - ST. LUCIE 7, JUPITER 6: John Lannan pitched four innings and allowed two runs on six hits, including a two-run first-inning home run by Viosergy Rosa. Catcher Cam Maron had two hits and drove in two runs for the Mets. L.J. Mazzilli reached base three times, with a double, a single and a walk. The Mets have won eight in a row and are 12-3 in the second half of the Florida State League season. Box

Mets A - SAVANNAH 2, HICKORY 1: Dario Alvarez struck out eight and allowed just one unearned run in 5 1/3 innings for his sixth win without a loss. Akeel Morris struck out the side in the ninth for his eighth save. Shortstop Yeixon Ruiz hit his first home run of the season to give the Sand Gnats a 2-0 lead in the fifth. Box

Mets A - SS - KINGSPORT 4, GREENEVILLE 2: Martires Arias pitched four innings of scoreless relief as Kingsport held on for the win. Pedro Perez, Zach Mathieu and Branden Kaupe each had two hits. Box

Mets A - SS - ABERDEEN 18, BROOKLYN 2: Cyclones pitchers combined to allow 18 hits with nine walks. First baseman Jeff Diehl had three of Brooklyn's seven hits. Box

Mets RK - GCL METS 3, GCL MARLINS 1: Rob Whalen, who had started strongly with Savannah before developing a finger infection, tossed a scoreless first inning with two strikeouts. Five Mets pitchers combined on a four-hitter, surviving eight walks. Manuel Hilario hit a two-run home run. Box
