Mets Minor League Roundup 4/30: Syndergaard gets win for Vegas
Mets AAA - LAS VEGAS 6, RENO 1: Noah Syndergaard limited Reno to one run on four hits and two walks while striking out seven in seven innings. He sliced his ERA to 3.94 with the 96-pitch performance. Juan Lagares went 2-for-4 and was hit by a pitch in what is expected to be his final rehab start. The 51s broke a 1-all tie with a five-run seventh that included run-scoring hits by Zach Lutz and Wilmer Flores. Flores was out of the starting lineup with continued swelling in the finger he jammed Sunday, which makes it difficult to throw. Box

Mets High A - CHARLOTTE 6, ST. LUCIE 1: Starter Steven Matz allowed two runs on six hits and four walks in five innings. The Stone Crabs added four runs in two innings against reliever Julian Hilario. St. Lucie's lone run opened the scoring in the second inning and was unearned. Leadoff batter Gilbert Gomez walked, advanced to second on a walk to Eudy Pina and scored on an error by Charlotte pitcher Leonel Santiago. Matz's ERA rose to 1.88. Box
