Mets AA - BINGHAMTON 9, NEW HAMPSHIRE 1: Darin Gorski established a Double-A career high in strikeouts with 10 to lead the B-Mets to their fourth straight win. In the second, Jayce Boyd smoked a double against New Hampshire starter Austin Bibens-Dirkx. Dustin Lawley followed with a towering two-run homer. Following two-out singles by Matt Reynolds and Kyle Johnson in the fifth, Brian Burgamy blasted a 2-1 pitch from Bibens-Dirkx off the base of the video board in right-center. His first homer as a B-Met pushed the lead to 5-1. Gorski preserved the lead with a perfect fifth. He worked around two singles to post a scoreless sixth. With runners on first and second, the southpaw capped his performance by striking out Ryan Schimpf to cap a nine-pitch at-bat. Gorski (1-0) was charged with one unearned run on three hits over six innings. Jon Velasquez and Adam Kolarek combined to toss three scoreless relief innings.
