The New York Mets (8-7) will come home to Citi Field to face the first place Atlanta Braves (10-5) in a three game series. Both Teams have been playing well of late, the Mets have won 3 in a row to finish a 6-3 road trip and the Braves have won 5 out of last 6. The Mets are 2-4 at home this season, while the Braves are 6-3 on the road.

The Mets will open up with Jon Niese, who pitched on April 12th against the Angels and got the no decision. Good News is Niese pitched 7.1 innings, gave up 6 hits, and only giving up 3 earned runs. Niese is 6-2 with a 3.62 ERA vs the Braves in his career. The current Braves combined have given Jon some fits batting .333 (52 for 156) with 4 HR's and 26 RBI's.

Braves Players to watch out for: Jason Heyward is batting .375 with 2 HR's and 8 RBI's, Freddie Freeman is batting .333 with 2 HR's and 6 RBI's , Dan Uggla is batting .300, and Justin Upton is batting .533 (8 for 15) vs Niese.

The Braves will counter with former Met, Aaron Harang. Harang has opened up the season well going 2-1 with a minuscule 0.96 ERA in three games. Harang in his career he is 4-5 with a 5.20 ERA vs the Mets. The Mets beat Harang on April 8th in Atlanta (4-0). Harang went 6 innings, gave up only 2 hits, gave up 1 earned run, walked 4 , while striking out 9.  Harang last pitched against the Nationals on April 13th where he got the win (10-2). The current Mets combined are batting .351 (39 for 111) with 6 HR's and 21 RBI's.

Mets Players to watch out for: David Wright .458 with 1 HR 7 RBI's, Daniel Murphy .429 with 1 HR and 5 RBI's, Chris Young .292 with 3 HR's and 5 RBI's, Eric Young .625 (5 for 8), Ruben Tejada .500 (6 for 12) vs Harang.

On the flip side: Lucas Duda is batting .167 with 1 HR and 2 RBI's and Curtis Granderson is batting .200 (1 for 5) vs Harang.
