Here are some of my bold predictions for the 2014 season. Hope you enjoy!

Bold Predictions:
Mets Record?
87-75 - Mets Fail to Make Playoffs,  Miss Goal of 90 Wins..
My thought is this, the Mets will have a entertaining season and exceed better than anyone thought, but it won't be enough until we get a full season out of Harvey in 2015, fix the shortstop problem and make a final decision who will man first. These problem still linger for the Metropolitans.

Does Matt Harvey Comeback?
Yes,  In September and will pitch two games and win both.
I think Superman Harvey will be ahead of schedule and pitch in Sept.

Does Syndergaard Come up?
Yes, In later part of June...People will be saying....Dice-K Who?
Matter of time we get sick of Dice-K and bring up Thor!

Does Rafael Montero Come up?
No, I think the Mets will use him as trade bait to get shortstop or other parts for the future.

Big Surprises?
I think the Mets will eventually have Wilmer Flores manning shortstop over Ruben Tejada. I also think we will see more of Kirk Nieuwenhuis, Matt den Dekker, and Anthony Seratelli from the minors. I also think Jeurys Familia will have a good year in the pen and the Mets will have their closer in waiting.

What else will surprise us?
I think Curtis Granderson will have a serviceable season and hit 25-28 HR's.  Chris Young will surprise fans as he will add some pop (hitting 17-20 HR's) and raise his average and RBI totals. Ike Davis and Lucas Duda will split time at first base and get some positive results in the power numbers. I don't think either will hit for a high average, but combined should have close to 40 HR's. Josh Satin numbers should go up against left handed pitchers and provide some stability there. I also think catcher Travis d'Arnaud will hit some HR's and his RBI totals should be in the 60 range. Juan Lagares, the defensive genius in centerfield will get better hit around .260-.270 with 10 dingers.. Eric Young Jr., who looked great this spring will bat around .280 and steal 30-40 bases.

Other Notes - Teams to watch against the Mets:

The Nationals are predicted again to win the division and have the talent to do so in the NL East. There weaknesses are far from few. They have power, starting pitching, speed, and not to mention a good bullpen.

The Braves are also predicted to win ahead of the Mets in the division. The Braves always seem to find the right pieces to replace parts that have disappeared like Brian McCann and Tim Hudson to name a few.

The Marlins always know how to beat up the Mets. Whether the Marlins are in last place or first place they always put the Mets in fits. Mets have to play better against them.

The Phillies are, and always will be the Mets enemy in the division. With the cast of Jimmy Rollins, Ryan Howard, Chase Utley in the equation.... Mets Fans can find them easy to hate and the battle will continue.

What the Mets have to do better?
The Mets have to play better at home..period..
Mets were 33-48 last season at Citi Field and were 41-40 away.
The Braves had 56 wins, The Nationals had 47 wins, and the Phillies had 43 wins in their home ballparks in 2013.

Opening Day is Here, the season is ready to begin... Are you ready???  LGM!
