Mets News: Curtis Granderson will get more at bats this spring
According to Adam Rubin of ESPN NY, Terry Collins has adjusted his playing-time plan for Curtis Granderson after speaking with the outfielder.
Initially, Collins suggested Granderson's at-bats would be limited early in the exhibition season, just like David Wright and Daniel Murphy's, to guard against injury.
But Granderson instead told Collins he wanted to see a lot of at-bats this spring because of lost time in 2013.
Granderson was limited to 61 games with the Yankees last season because of fractures to his right wrist and a left-pinkie knuckle.
