NL All-Star Matt Harvey has returned to New York from seeing Dr. James Andrews in Pensacola, Fla. to determine whether or not he will need Tommy John Surgery this off-season. Of Course, if Harvey does get the surgery he will most likely miss most of the 2014 Season.
The Mets are expected to make an announcement about his course of action today.
In other Mets Injury Related News, Terry Collins says the team medical staff and front-office personnel will confer today to determine if David Wright is ready to reenter the lineup. Wright last played in a major league game on Aug. 2, when he suffered a Grade 2 right hamstring strain running to first base in extra innings.
