Mets Minor League Roundup 6/26:AA - BINGHAMTON at PORTLAND (ppd.): The B-Mets and Sea Dogs failed to complete their suspended game as well as their regularly scheduled contest on Wednesday night due to inclement weather. Both contests will be played at NYSEG Stadium in Binghamton during a series that begins July 11. The B-Mets and Sea Dogs played two scoreless innings on Tuesday night before rain, lightning and thunder suspended the action. In his fourth start of the season, Portland’s Keith Couch worked around two walks in two shutout innings. B-Mets left-hander Darin Gorski walked one over two scoreless frames in his third start since returning from the disabled list.
A - SAVANNAH 5, AUGUSTA 1: Gabriel Ynoa (9-2) limited the GreenJackets to one run in six innings. Hunter Carnevale and Paul Sewald combined for three no-hit relief innings. Trailing 1-0, the Gnats (45-30) produced a three-run sixth that included Jeff Glenn's two-run double and Phillip Evans' RBI single. Chad Zurcher had a two-run single in the eighth. Cole Frenzel went 2-for-4 and scored twice. Box
RK - GREENEVILLE 5, KINGSPORT 3: Alberto Baldonado suffered a blown save after surrendering two runs in the eighth and Tyler Bashlor surrendered a walk-off two-run homer to Ariel Ovando in the ninth. Bashlor, an 11th-round pick, was making his pro debut. Jonathan Leroux's two-run homer in the fourth had staked the K-Mets (2-5) to a 3-1 lead. Box
SS - ABERDEEN 3, BROOKLYN 0 (8 innings): John Gant allowed three runs while striking out 10 in six innings in the rain-shortened game.
