Mets Minor League Roundup 6/25:


SALT LAKE 10, LAS VEGAS 4: Robert Carson was charged with six ninth-inning runs as Salt Lake broke a 4-all tie in the final frame. 51s starter Rafael Montero lasted only three innings. He allowed four runs on five hits and three walks in a 74-pitch effort. Ike Davis went 0-for-4 with an intentional walk and a strikeout. Wilmer Flores had a first-inning solo homer against Barry Enright and finished with two RBIs. Box

BINGHAMTON 0, PORTLAND 0 (suspended): The B-Mets and Sea Dogs completed two scoreless innings before heavy rain, lightning and thunder suspended play at Hadlock Field. The contest will resume with the B-Mets set to hit in the top of third inning Wednesday night and will be scheduled for nine innings. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. Wednesday's regularly scheduled contest will follow and be set for seven innings. In his fourth start of the season, Portland’s Keith Couch worked around two walks in two shutout innings. Darin Gorski walked one over two scoreless frames in his third start since returning from the disabled list. Box

ST. LUCIE 4, BRADENTON 0: Rainy Lara pitched 5 2/3 scoreless innings and struck out eight. Lara allowed five hits while issuing two walks and picked up his second win. The Mets (40-33) had a three-run first inning. Dustin Lawley’s infield single scored T.J. Rivera. Kevin Plawecki’s infield single then plated Matt den Dekker. Cam Maron ripped a ground-rule double to plate Lawley. The Mets pushed across the final run in the seventh on Jayce Boyd's double, which scored den Dekker from first. Plawecki, Maron, den Dekker and Charley Thurber had two hits apiece. Bret Mitchell induced a groundout to strand two runners in the sixth. Mitchell walked three consecutive batters with two outs in the seventh before Hamilton Bennett struck out Willy Garcia with the bases loaded to escape the jam. Bennett pitched 2 1/3 scoreless innings while giving up one hit and a walk and striking out three. He earned his sixth save. Box

BRISTOL 9, KINGSPORT 7: K-Mets starter Martires Arias surrendered eight runs (seven earned) in four innings as Kingsport (2-4) fell in an 8-0 hole. A three-run ninth, highlighted by a two-run triple from Jeff McNeil, pulled Kingsport within 9-7. Box

HUDSON VALLEY 6, BROOKLYN 5 (10 innings): Shane Bay surrendered a walk-off, bases-loaded, two-out single to James Harris in the 10th. The Cyclones (4-4) had taken a 5-0 lead after a half-inning. The first inning outburst included a three-run double by Matt Oberste. Brooklyn starter Miller Diaz ultimately surrendered five runs in five innings. Juan Urbina and rehabbing Shawn Teufel each contributed two scoreless relief innings. Box

GCL METS 6, GCL CARDINALS 1: Michael Fulmer, who underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus during spring training, tossed six scoreless innings. Jhoan Urena and Alex Machillanda each went 3-for-4. Box
