Class AAA - LAS VEGAS 3, ALBUQUERQUE 1: The 51s defeated the Isotopes, 4-3, for their second straight victory in game two of the four-game series before a Little League/Mother's Day crowd of 3,489 at Cashman Field. Las Vegas built an 4-0 lead after four innings. RHP Collin McHugh improved to 3-2. He pitched seven innings and allowed six hits, one run and walked two. Box.
Class AA - HARRISBURG 3, BINGHAMTON 1; BINGHAMTON 9, HARRISBURG 3: After dropping the first game of a doubleheader, Binghamton responded in the final game to earn the series split. Danny Muno had the lone RBI in the first game. In Game 2, the B-Mets struck right away. They scored six runs in the first inning, highlighted by two-run singles by Cesar Puello and Cory Mazzoni. They then tacked on three more runs in the second, with an RBI double from Blake Forsythe and a two-run double by Joe Bonfe. On the mound, Mazzoni shut down the Senators. He threw 5 2/3 innings and only gave up one run on his way to earning his first win in 2013. Game 1 Box; Game 2 Box.
Class A - ROME 4, SAVANNAH 1: Rome scored first, with a pair of runs, only one of which was earned, against Savannah starter Matt Koch in the third. The Gnats scored their only run of the game when left fielder Stefan Sabol a solo home run in the third inning. The Braves added two runs in the sixth inning. The Gnats had more errors (4) than hits (3). Box.
