Mets Suspend Bullpen Catcher

The Mets have announced resolution on a story from two days ago, suspending bullpen catcher Eric Langill. Langill was arrested and charged with DUI in Port St. Lucie on Sunday night after a one-car accident.

Here is the team's statement:

“We met with Eric Langill this morning. He was contrite and very apologetic about Sunday night's incident. We informed Eric that he will be suspended without pay for seven days and will be required to seek counseling through the Employee Assistance Program.”
