Mets News and Notes: Duda, Pagan, Bay, Wright, Parnell

Headaches continue to rack Lucas Duda, and Terry Collins indicated that he has the symptoms of a concussion. That is not the official diagnosis, but it does not sound.

“Lucas is unchanged,” Collins said. “I’ll be surprised if he plays again this year.”

Angel Pagan?

He’s still got symptoms related to whacking himself in the head with a bat last week. So it’s doubtful he’ll be back this year, too.

And Jason Bay is still suffering from a sinus infection.

He will visit a doctor again tomorrow, and hopefully be prescribed a new round of antibiotics.

And David Wright has the day off......... Which means . . . Willie Harris is batting third.

Bobby Parnell will get the chance to close today. Of course, Roy Halladay is pitching for the Phillies. So his chances to close this one out is slim to none..
