Mets placed INF Jose Reyes on the bereavement list.
Reyes will be away from the Mets for the next 3-7 days following the death of his grandmother back in the Dominican Republic. The Mets have not yet replaced him on the 25-man roster.

In other news - Ike Davis, who continues to be tormented by a bone bruise in his left ankle that he suffered in a May 10 collision with David Wright in Denver, intends to fly to New York for another examination with team doctors later Monday.
